Are you having a hard time eating your vegetables on a daily basis? You have to wash them, cut them, cook them, etc. No matter what excuse you’re using, it’s more complicated than opening a bag of potato chips. We get it. Also, it’s not always easy to find the energy to cook an elaborated dinner after a long day at work. But you still need to eat your vegetables to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

That is why our chefs came up with the ultimate tip to simplify your life: blanching your vegetables.

By blanching your vegetables, you will end up with a refrigerator full of pre-cooked vegetables ready to reheat for dinner time. You can preserve them in an airtight container for 2-4 days in the fridge or freeze them. No more excuses!

How do we do it? It’s very easy! All you need to do is wash and cut your favourite vegetables (Brussels sprouts, broccoli, carrots, squashes, etc.) and cook them briefly in boiling water (2-3 minutes). Then, chill in iced water and store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer. Reheat in a pan whenever you are in the mood for vegetables. Voila!
