Our chefs came up with two delicious roasted chickpeas recipes: salt & vinegar and cinnamon & maple. These two flavours will satisfy your afternoon cravings (whether you prefer sweet or salty). You can also add them to your salads to add a crunchy kick!

Ingredients
Salt & Vinegar Roasted Chickpeas:
1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
2 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. lime juice
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Cinnamon & Maple Roasted Chickpeas:
1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 ½ tbsp. grounded cinnamon
1 ½ tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. coconut oil
Steps
Salt & Vinegar Roasted Chickpeas:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Use a clean kitchen towel to dry them.
3. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and add the chickpeas. Mix well to coat the chickpeas.
4. Place the chickpeas on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 40 minutes. Make sure to mix halfway through baking.
Cinnamon & Maple Roasted Chickpeas:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Use a clean kitchen towel to dry them.
3. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and add the chickpeas. Mix well to coat the chickpeas.
4. Place the chickpeas on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Make sure to mix halfway through baking.
