Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon & Parmesan

Ingredients:

4 cups Brussels sprouts halved

1 half onion chopped

½ cup chicken or vegetable broth

5 slices bacon, chopped

1 tbsp. olive oil

½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Salt and pepper

 

Instructions:

1. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Reserve.

2. In a second skillet, brown the Brussels sprouts and onions in olive oil. Season with salt and pepper Add in the broth and simmer until the broth has evaporated.

3. Transfer the Brussels sprouts into a serving tray or a plate. Add the bacon and the Parmesan cheese.
