Poached Egg, Asparagus and Prosciutto

Brunch is always a good idea! Impress your guests with this healthy, easy and beautiful breakfast recipe. Serve our poached egg, asparagus and prosciutto recipe with a glass of mimosa. Enjoy!

 

Ingredients:

1 egg

3 slices smoked prosciutto

5 asparagus

Parmesan cheese shavings

1 tbsp. olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

1. Fill a saucepan with 3 inches of water and heat until water simmers gently.

2. Break an egg in a saucer and slide egg into water. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Remove the egg with a spoon.

3. Add the olive oil in a pan and cook the asparagus for 5 minutes.

4. Place the prosciutto slices in a plate. Add the asparagus, poached egg and top with Parmesan cheese shavings. Season with salt and pepper.
