This classic Italian sandwich is far from boring. Here’s a gourmet recipe takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and will surely please everyone. Enjoy the picnic!

 

Ingredients:

4 focaccia or ciabatta breads

8 salami slices

8 prosciutto slices

8 chorizo slices

8 Mozzarella cheese slices

1 cup Romaine lettuce

½ cup red bell peppers cut into thin strips

¼ cup red onions finely chopped

2 tbsp. olives finely chopped

2 tbsp. pesto

2 tbsp. Dijon mustard

2 tbsp. mayonnaise

 

Instructions:

1. Slice the bread in half and spread evenly the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise and pesto.

2. Add the charcuterie, Mozzarella cheese, red bell peppers, red onions, olives and lettuce.

3. Slice the sandwiches if needed and enjoy!
