Dark Chocolate Mousse

For the Holiday season, our chefs came up with an amazing Dark Chocolate Mousse recipe for the chocolate lovers. It's quick and delicious. Give it a try!



1 cup heavy cream (35%)

4 egg yolks

1 egg

2/3 cup sugar

½ cup water

1 ½ cups dark chocolate


1. In a sauce pan, bring water to a boil and add the sugar.

2. In a bowl, whisk the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

3. Place chocolate in a bowl set over a bain marie. Stir until melted.

4. In another bowl, mix the water and sugar mixture with the eggs. Heat in a microwave for a couple of seconds until the temperatures’ mix is set to 80 degrees.

5. Using a mixer, whip the egg mixture until you get a ribbon texture. Add melted chocolate and mix well.

6. Add whipping cream and mix carefully.

7. Pour the mousse mixture directly into serving bowls.
