Here’s the perfect appetizer to start a nice evening with friends. Try our warm and crispy goat cheese bites drizzled with honey and topped with fresh chives. No need to use a frying machine, this recipe is oven baked in less than 10 minutes.

 

Ingredients:

300 g goat cheese

2 cups panko breadcrumbs

2 eggs

Spray olive oil

¼ cup honey

Fresh chives

Fresh basil

 

Instructions:

1. Cut goat cheese portions and roll into balls.

2. Add the panko breadcrumbs in a first bowl, and the beaten egg in a second bowl.

3. Prepare the cheese balls by dipping them into eggs and then breadcrumbs.

4. Place the cheese balls on a parchment lined baking sheet.

5. Bake in the oven at 375°F for 10 minutes.

6. Remove baking sheet from the oven and place the cheese balls on a serving board with fresh basil. Before serving drizzle with honey and top with fresh chives.
