Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad

This chicken pesto pasta recipe tastes like heaven! The fresh basil, Parmesan cheese and garden tomatoes are adding a touch of Summer to this simple and easy recipe. Enjoy it for lunch or at a picnic. 

 

Ingredients:

2 ½ cups pasta of your choice

1 cup cherry tomatoes cut in half

1 cup cooked chicken strips

1 green onion minced

½ cup pesto

¼ cup Parmesan cheese shavings

2 tbsp. mayonnaise

1 tbsp. lemon juice

Salt and pepper

 

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions written on the packaging. Set aside.

2. Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes and green onion.

3. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and seasoned with salt and pepper.
