The whole month of July will be dedicated to recipes that are ideal for picnics. This one will most certainly bring back good memories from your childhood. Our homemade orangeade is the perfect refreshment to serve with a light picnic.
1 ½ cup fresh orange juice (4-6 oranges)
½ cup fresh lime juice (2-3 limes)
4 tbsp. sugar
3 cups water
2 cups ice cubes
1. Add 1 cup of water to a kettle and bring to a boil. Add the sugar and hot water to a pitcher and mix well to dissolve the sugar.
2. Squeeze the oranges and limes. Add the juice and remaining water to the pitcher. Mix well and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
3. Before serving, add the ice cubes and garnish with orange slices.
